I'm running a HP Pavilion (a6220n),Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E4500
32-bit OS, Windows Vista Home Premium SP 2
I had the Computer Window up and thought to Eject a DVD from a USB
DVD Player I have hooked up(Which has always worked Fine).Well I did
something apparently Hugely WRONG! I right clicked on the device and on the drop down,I accidently pushed "Safely Remove". Poof-Both the
Computers DVD and the USB DVD Vanished from the Drives Window!
I figured I could simply go to the "Device Manager" and reinstall both.
Each DVD Properties windows said Windows Can not load the Device Driver for this Hardware,Code 39.
I tried installing the Drivers and got back:"You already have the correct drivers, maybe they are corrupt".I got back nothing from the "Look for Solution" button. I tried Restarting the Computer with and without the USB DVD connected-Nothing! I can't help but think that the answer is simple, but I can not find one! 'Is There Anybody Out There'-that can?
