Hello everyone,CCC software doesnt seem to be working for me.I have used my recovery CD and the system has now CCC version 2.7 (It aint on the system tray but its running I guess).Problem is I uninstalled this and downloaded 8.4 (was like 40+mb)the setup process was very quick and when it ended there was no CCC installed but the setup was successfull.I mean even the ATI Techonologies folder was empty.

My graphics card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD2600
I went to Drivers>Windows Vista32bit>Radeon>HD2600 Series (PCIe)I have no idea what PCIe is either >.>.Can anyone post me a appopriate link or help me keep my drivers up to date?

Hello
First try reinstalling .Net framework
Download details: .NET Framework 3.5

Then if above don't work i encourage you to install Ati tray tool from here
ATI Tray Tools 1.3.6.1042 download from Guru3D.com

If you don't know even what PCIe is it will be harder for you in the beggining to work with this little program but is much more flexible than CCC and it should work from first shot. Here is the support forum and a little guide for it:

I hope this helps
good luck

I hope these are up to date, and if you could send me a proper link to my graphics card driver? Becouse when I go into ATI's graphics driver site click vista 32 and Mobility Radeon there isnt a HD2600 only X series.

My Graphics Card is ATI Mobility Radeon 512 mb HyperMemory as mentioned above and I thought that maybe I wasnt installing the proper driver.

I don't think the problem with CCC is about the driver.Unfortunetly for laptops the VGA drivers can be downloaded only from your laptop manufacture site. This is my experience with my ex-Hp 9640us model with nvidia 8600M GS.The only i could install the normal nvidia drivers from their site is through a moded inf file.
Here is a thread that can surely help you more:

Downlaoded,CCC has installed but The installation of ATI Graphics Driver has failed now I have sucky desktop resolution etc etc.Im now on Toshiba's driver site and I found my Graphics Driver.Should I remove the CCC and stuff?

My Computer

If you didn't used mobility modder correctly the drivers themselves didn't see your card so they didn't install.I suggest uninstalling everything ati related.
Driver Cleaner Professional download from Guru3D.com
Use this little utility is very easy to use and nice.
1.Remove the drivers and all ati from add/remove program .. DON"T RESTART THE PC when prompted.
2. lunch the utility and use the filter ATI and then shoot clean
3. restart :)
4. install the modded drivers with CCC
5. report again
6. good luck

Instead,I downloaded the one at the Toshiba's site and voila they were version 8.4 too.BUT,I havent really felt a improvance in performance in games such as BF 2142,actually It went worse? I dont know.I tried tweaking ATI Tray Tools but I guess Im a big n00b in this overclocking and tweaking subject.I was afraid that I would burn my CPU and so so I stopped for a while :P.Thank you for the help.
