I know there was a similar problem described, but only similar - this is different in important thing.
This problem I've had on many machines with Windows (I work in computer help center).
The problem is, that i can't associate a file in normal way (right clicking/open with... etc), when in Path name of program to "open with" is a "+" sign.
Step by step:
Have anyone solved this Windows bug?
Machine on which I've been testing this bug have Windows Vista Home Premium x64. (and I've had this problem on other machines, but doesn't remember which Windows system was installed on them)

Step by step:
- I right click a file - for example with extension .txs, choose "Open With..."
- "Browse..." (because program [for example Notepad++] is not listed)
- Select this program from C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\notepad++.exe (going to its folder, selecting Notepad++.exe file and clicking "Open")
- And... the program doesn't appear on the list to Open With. (I can repeat all the procedure infinitely but it will not appear on the list)
