Can't put Vista to sleep

Hi Guys,

I have a problem when I try to put Vista in sleep mode. Mostly it looks like it's working but when I try to resume it won't wake up (I have to restart using the case buttons).

The event log states that:
The previous system shutdown at 6:12:15 PM on 25/11/2009 was unexpected.
Which is the time when I tried to get into sleep mode.

I have tried closing all applications before going to sleep. There is nothing in the event log at the time I try to get into sleep mode.

The issue I happening consistently every time I try to use sleep mode.

I there anything I can check or do to try to debug the issue?

It seems to have been happening since I joined my computer to another domain (migrating the profile, etc.) but I can't say for sure.

I am running Vista Business x64 SP1.

Thanks for any help.
