Can't print attachments from email

I can't print email attachments but I can print things off the INTERNET. I restored my laptop back to factory settings after a problem and have downloaded updated drivers. I have a dell 1545 with vista home premium. From the time I restored it I have not been able to print these attachments. I also amy using a dell 968 wireless printer and again the communication is ok to print off the INTERNET. By the way my skill level is about a 1.5 maybe out of 5 with 5 the highest. I sometimes think there is some box needs checked. I don't know. Any help would be appreciated.

You read from a client: example windows mail, thunderbird etc and which one.

Sorry I should have stated that. I use Windows mail and Gmail and it happens with both.

May I also suggest that you upgrade to the most current, Windows Live Mail 2011. In addition to the most current, it is supported and is used by most members here, including myself, so we can give better assistance.

Thanks. Yes Iam doing what I always did before the restore. It seems like this should be simple, but I just can't figure it out.

I tried to research this for you and saw that back in April, you had posted this problem and had several good suggetions that did not work.
May I suggest that there is some sort of corruption in your user account. Open a new administrator account and see if it works from there.

If that does not work, run this three times if errors are found
