Can't Install Opera

I have been having a lot of problems with IE so I tried to install Opera. When I try to install Opera a yellow warning bar appears saying something about active x when I use the option to install my computer freezes and will not let me do
anything. Please tell my how I can install Opera without this problem. All advice will be appreciated.

Is it yellow shield or yellow triangle?

1.Try to reset Internet Explorer http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/114310-internet-explorer-reset.html

2.If point 1 no help try to install Opera in safe mode.

Thsnk you for your reply Flavius it was the yellow shield. I tried installing Opera in safe mode and it worked. I now have another browser to rely on.
