I have Vista Home Premium. I took a course on it and learned a lot, but I can't figure out how to delete files. I click on the office button and punch in the thumbtacks, but it doesn't do anything. I'm stuck. Any suggestions appreciated. 4hal
Hi 4hal, which files are you talking about? Generally, you can just right click on a file and click Delete to delete it. Or select the file that you want to delete and press the Delete button on the keyboard
It doesn't work on the Office's first drop down menu: "Recent Documents" but it did work when I clicked the "Open" tab, then followed your suggestions on the files listed there. Thank you very much.:D
On that first drop down menu where I cannot delete "Recent Files" there are thumbtacks. What are the thumbtacks for, do you know? 4hal
