Solved Can't delete Dreamscene.dll file

Okay, I've installed a patch/hack to run DreamScene (Vista Ultimate Extra to set videos as background) on Home Premium. It works, but I don't really like it and it messes up my "customize-window" (sorry, I don't know the correct word (I'm German)). Anyway, after deleting Dreamscene.dll.mui and moving Dreamscene.dll to the desktop, the "customize-window" is normal again, but I can't delete Dreamscene.dll with "take ownership". I've even disabled UAC, but it still doesn't work.

:(

Hello Boom,

Welcome to the Vista Forums.

Do you get any error box?

You could check/change the security properties. Right click the file-folder/properties/security tab. Click on Advanced at bottom right. Permissions tab/change permissions. Select your username and click edit.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your stay.

Thanks for your help, but it still can't delete the file.
(I checked it, I've got full control over the file.)

Btw, here's the error box:

http://www9.picfront.org/picture/dgQl5gpJh/img/screen.png

"You need permission to carry out the operation." (google translate)
Repeat | Cancel
You also need to make sure that you have done a new start after stopping the program and before trying to delete this file
You will not be able to delete it if its in use
