I have a Compac laptop with an Atheros AR 5007 802.11 b/g wireless adapter connecting to a Netgear router (hw version wndr3700, firmware version V1.0.4.68NA, gui language version V1.0.0.42). My OS is windows vista home basic sp2. I already checked the router version is the latest and no windows critical updates are missing. The connection will work fine if I use WEP. If I switch back to WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES] the computer connects to the router but I loose internet access (ipV4 and 6 appear as Local). A cable connection from the router also works fine. As soon as I switch back to WEP all is fine again. Anyone
