Can't Access Vista Forum Using Sprint Mobile

I have a new Dell and am using a Sprint Mobile Broadband connection and can't access this forum (using my Cox connection now.) It displays that "Internet Explorer Can't Display the Webpage." Do you think that is Sprint's fault or something in my Vista settings causing this. Probably Sprint as I CAN access it using Cox. But I want to make sure before I call them....

If you can access every other website other than this one then yes its sprints fault.

There is a simple test to identify what the ISP is doing (sprint has a history of blocking domains)

open cmd from the start menu and do the two following commands

Tracert will trace the path from you to the vistax64 host and can help identify the ISP computer blocking connection.

tracert www.vistax64.com

Tracing route to vistax64.com [74.53.55.50]

13 294 ms 293 ms 293 ms vistax64.com [74.53.55.50]
14 294 ms 293 ms 292 ms vistax64.com [74.53.55.50]

Trace Complete

Ping will help confirm the host is up and listening for website requests...

Hi Steve, Thanks for the input here... I'm thinking it is Sprint as well. I have a month to decide what I think of their service before I sign a 2 year contract. I can't use a webcam (total bummer) and if I can't view website I want - well then I may reconsider using them.

I did what you said... I attached it but have no idea what it means or even if the attachment will "read" okay... unfortunately I can't "view" it until I post it.

Ping is just a message send/recieve test (echo > response)...Well its responding to ping requests which is good because it means there not blocking this host...

What does the tracert test say?

no, tracert just shows the devices on the internet from one location to another...
hope it doesnt or theres a lot of people out there who will know my details too...

After I ran this test I was able to access the forum (I am using the Dell now.) So, whatever you suggested worked!

There are just too many numbers on the other print screen... I am scared something in there will identify my computer and not all people in forums are helpful like you...

Thanks for the "test" information here as it did fix the problem.
