Hey everyone,
I own a website that has been transfered to a different hosting account however I still cannot access the site - everyone else can, including my partner (we live together and share the internet) but I still get the page that we put up saying that the site will be back soon, just changing servers etc.
I'm using firefox - I've cleared my history, the cache and even deleted my bookmarks.
I've cleared the cache using the command prompt and I've cleared out all temporary internet files.
I've run out of ideas as to why I still cant get onto the site (which can be found
here ).
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!
Have you flushed your DNS?

The thing with the command prompt? Where you put in ipconfig /flushdns? If so, I've done that a million times, doesnt seem to have any effect
Did you do it from an admin command prompt (right click on cmd and run as admin)?

Yeah it comes up with the new IP
If the ip is showing correctly from ping then it must be a browser issue, have you tried any other bowser?
I know this is a silly question but have you tried rebooting?

Hehe yeah I've rebooted god knows how many times (properly, switching it all off then rebooting).
I've used IE and even downloaded Safari to try that but I get the same result.
Ok the only other thing I can think of is adding an entry for your site into your hosts file, this shouldn't make any difference as your ping is correct but it's worth a try anyway.
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
Open with notepad and add the following to the bottom of the file
Code:
174.121.93.174 eclecticpaganpaths.com
You will need to give yourself
write permissions on the file security tab before you can save.
