CanoScan N124OU

I am looking for a driver for my Scanner.

CanoScan N124OU

Can anyone help, I have been on the Cannon Wesite to no avail.

TIA

Wendy

I have one that someone hacked to work with Vista 64 bit. I'll be installing it tomorrow and if it works I'll post back to let you know. Compressed as a rar file its almost 8 mb.

Dont worry about it, I have given up the will to live after trying for over a weeks.

Today we went to 3 large shops here in Torrevieja, Spain where we live. All they had were combination ones of scanner+printer. As my printer is fairly new, I just want a scanner.

Hi Wendy,

Here is a link to the Canon website for your scanner. There are 2 programs here, the first is the 'CanonScan Toolbox' and the second is 'ScanGear CS'. These are for the 32-bit version of Vista. When you click the link, it will take you to the general support page for your scanner. You will need to select 'Windows Vista' in the 'Operating system' drop down box and 'English' in the 'Language' box. Then click 'Submit'.

I read on another forum that Scangear CS didn't work with vista 64 bit.

Thank you all for your help & advice.

After tearing my hair out using all your sugestions, I have given up.

Today we went out & bought a new one, a CanoScan Lide 25, from a shop not far from us in Carbo Roix, that a friend told us about it.

It works & now I am a happy bunny.
