Hi everyone, I have a really stupid error while trying to run a 16 bit application like an old game's installer  The screenshot explains it all:

I found a Microsoft's walkaround but it does not work, because
1) Regdt32.exe DOES NOT exist on Vista (help me to find it if i'm wrong)
2)There is no "VirtualDeviceDrivers" with VDD value under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CURRENTCONTROLSET/CONTROL
This is the Microsoft's (absolutely wrong) workaround: Virtual device driver error message in 16-Bit MS-DOS subsystem IT says it applies to Windows 2000, but all the people say it works on Vista too, but on mine it does not work. Could someone give me a .reg file with the missing key i am looking for?
Or could some one give me a working walkaround so i can launch 16 bit applications? Here there are my specs
WIndows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit
Intel 4500 HD
2 Gb Ram
Core 2 Duo T5670 @ 1.80 ghs 2 MB L2 Cache
Please help me!

regedit32 was used in Windows 2000 (and maybe even XP). You're right that it's not present in Vista.

I'd suggest that you use regedit.exe instead - and backup your registry before trying this.
