I have a Gateway GM5684E running Vista Home Premium 32bit,Speedstream 4100 modem, Linksys WRT54G wireless router.
A couple of days ago our phone went down during rainstorm, ever since I haven't been able to connect to the internet. My Dell laptop XP works just fine.
When I try to setup a connect to a network I get the following Wizard error message:

Error: (0800706BA) <The error message could not be found>.
Additional info:
Failed to detect Internet connectivity
Connection status: unknown
The dependency service or group failed to start.
Every time I try to connect to the Internet I keep getting the same error message
I just don't know what to do.Has anyone had this happen to your pc?
