Cannot Add Favorites

I'm not sure if this is a SP1 problem or not, but I can no longer add a website to my favorites after relocating the Favorites folder to another drive.

To minimize the risk of losing critical data due to a re-install, I move most of my user folders (Documents, Pictures, Favorites, etc) to a physically different hard disk. I've just recently re-installed Windows Vista Ultimate x64, and proceeded to immediately install SP1, before installing any applications.

Only once this was done, did I move my Favorites folder to my D: (which was also freshly re-formatted after the install). Now, however, I can not add a site to favorites anymore:

If I close all instances of Internet Explorer and move the Favorites user folder back to it's default location (right-click, properties, location, restore default) then favorites work again as normal.

EDIT:
I've been able to get by this error by manually editing security permissions, and adding my username with full access. But surely this shouldn't ned to be done, seeing as I'm logged in (obviously) to my own user account, and I created the destination folder to which I've moved the favorites? This didn't happen before SP1

Strange. I just tried moving my favorites to my E: drive. then added this page to my favorites without a problem. SP1 is installed.

My point exactly. I've tried locating the Favorites folder to different drives, all with the same result. I can't add favorites with manually giving myself full access in permissions, or reseting it back to it's default location.

Well I now have the same problem. I could add to favorites until I closed IE. When I reopened it I could no longer add a favorite. Had to move it back and stop/start explorer.exe in task manager to make it work again. Very odd.
