I purchased this new labtop with Vista home basic Windows system last month. After useing for a few days, I just can not start any program any more: like Windows midia player, Adobe, even I can not ajust my volume. When I clicked the program icon, a popup window says: *** has stopped working, and then close the program. When I open the IE, I can not download anything. I am the adminstrator user, but looks like I have any authority to do anything. I am just start my school class and need to use my computer frequently. Is anybody here can help? I appreciate it.

Bring it back and exchange for another one while it's still under warranty ..
Get at least Vista Home-Premium .....
You might be qualify for wds 7 upgrade when it's available in Oct/09
Brand new Laptop should not mess up that bad ......
Must be something seriouly wrong ....
