burning CD's in iTunes

when trying to burn a new CD into iTunes (8), it starts to burn the first song, then after about 1 minute, goes to the next song, then all through the others.
When you go to the library, the songs are there displaying a time like 787:34. No songs have been saved, apart from 1 minute of the first one.
Also when looking at the Computer and exploring the CD drive all you see are Audio CD tracks of 44 bytes.
How can I copy the CD into my machine?

Hi and Welcome to Vista Forums, you wont be able to burn a copyright media. When you explored the cd, the song size is 44 bytes. This shows that its a right protected media. Sorry but its illegal to copy such protected media.

use Media player - go to the Options and change settings....AUDIO QUALITY to Mp3 and the size to 115mb9256kbps) go to BURN tab and make sure 'do not convert' is chosen..and burn till the cows come home LOL

Still no luck.
I used the same CD and it imported immediatley on a mac with itunes, so the cd 'allows' it.
Any suggestions?
