BSOD Vista x64

Hi,

I've been having a lot of constant BSOD recently wondering if you can anaylze it,

I have Vista Ultimate x64 and have probably had it since 4 years or so already now,

Hello, took me a while to look at the dump files, i am seeing a vista driver issue and usually the BSOD's are caused by 3rd party drivers. So, my thinking for you is to try to use method one here unless you have the dvd Here : http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/194765-system-recovery-options.html

Post back results please, if this does not stop the BSOD's , we will have do do something else.

Repair would be my first choice. The reinstall would be the last thing to try. Reason for repair is that what i saw on the dump files indicated that vista drivers was the issue, these need to be repaired in my opinion. To do a reinstall would entail having backup of stuff first as you would lose some things. So, do the repair and post back results and we can go from there , please.

Here would be the method for repairing files from your dvd . http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-vista.html
This will allow you to repair your Vista installation and keep all of your personal user account files, settings, and programs. You will be performing a Upgrade Install from within your currently running Vista.

You will have to use the exact same Vista installation media type that you currently have installed.

Hello again, just so you know, i am new at this forum, and your issues may come back . The first set of instructions for the start up repair were wrong , as that will not correct a BSOD issue, which in my newness, was a wrong post. However, the repair install instructions will do as the Tutorial in that link will do as it says it will. Post back a new Thread with new log files if you have issues again, and thanks for using VistaForums for your computer problems.
