BSOD dual boot xp

Hi, I,m new here an I hope you guyz can help me.

I'll get straight to the point. I'm running Vista Home 64 bit On my dell Studio Laptop. Some of the apps I use are not compatible with vista but eventully will. But here's the problem, I read about dual booting vista with xp but when I tried, I got a bluescreen and then my laptop rebooted. I saw something in another thread about RAID or something but the thing is I'm not really good with computers. Do I have to get windows xp 64 bit or something??

The dump file blames OA001Vid.sys - a component of your Creative/Dell video camera.
Please:
- download the latest driver from Creative
- uninstall the current driver
- install the freshly downloaded driver
- monitor for further BSOD's

Also, Please update or remove these older drivers that were loaded at the time of the crash. Don't use Windows Update or the Update drivers function of Device Manager. Please use the following instructions to locate the most current drivers:

How To Find Updated Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
