Solved Broken MB Connection, so add-on Plug n Play?

Hello Vista Forums!
I am looking to buy a computer that is in the specs below, but, the downside is the connection where you hook a VGA monitor on the motherboard is broken. I will not go into details why, but it is broken. The computer still turns on, but the seller does not know if Vista starts. I was wondering if I could get a cheap $15-$30 graphics card, that had to be Plug n Play, and be able to see the screen. Or, I read that Vista will automatically install a basic driver that is universal? Keep in mind I cannot see what I am doing if I buy it.... :)
Thanks!

Oh, and I am known everywhere as corrytonapple, so just Google me. Vista is new for me, but I use XP and 7, so it should not be too bad.

hi corrytonapple, you can indeed get a cheap graphics card, I'd maybe look at an nvidia 8400GS or similar if you want to get simple graphics on, it should be sufficient to do basic computer tasks(word processing, web surfing, image editing), the graphics card will boot up with no drivers installed but you will still be able to see the screen, hope this helps.
