Bootup problem

Hello I have a major problem with my dell 530. When I turn it on no microsoft loading bar appears. It's as if it just sticks and when I go into safe Mode it just loads with lots of letters and words and then just sticks. Doesn't load just sticks.
Please help need help quickly.

Thanks Matthew

No sorry this sadly didn't help. I can't even get past the boot up for safe mode. The computer was working fine yesterday.

Could someone suggest another reason.

Yes it did but to no avail. It didn't work. I even took out some of the components and gave them a bit of a blow and put them back in. Are there any other solutions or should I just go ahead and reinstall windows.

I was just wondering if it was something to do with the video drivers. I think yesterday I say something in the windows update section about optional updates and itsaid something about a dell monitor driver. Would this have something to do with it. Btw, when I try to boot in safe mode there are the usual lines of White text but it gets stuck on BTHidMgr.sys hope this helps.

Thanks
Matthew.

I'm pretty sure that I didn't manually install any new software but windows update did. And it said something like dell.....digital display or something like that. I remeber looking in the device manager a while before and it said something like a Bluetooth device and it had a yells exclamation mark above it. Ironically when I go into safe mode it gets stuck on loading bthidmgr.sys which is a bluetooth driver. Could this be part. The problem?

Yeh cheers pooch I'm writing this now as windows is Being reinstalled. This is the second time I had to do this and it's really getting on my nerves. Both times it is due to unexplainable errors. I sure hope that Windows 7 is better than this!!!!!

Yeh I'll definitely be upgrading when it comes out. Even if I have to upgrade some of my hardware. Probably end up being RAM that would need to be replaced to deal with the nice flashy new interface which may I say looks fantastic.
Anyway Pooch, thanks very much for your support and I'm glad I got the problem fixed in the end.

Have a very Merry Christmas
