I found this program in my programs list. Bonjour. I did a Google search and all I came up with is it is a part of some network protocol that finds devices. It said it was part of Itunes and Mac OS. So do I really need this or is it a part of vista. Trying to clean up system and finding stuff I have no idea where it came from. I don't want to delete something that might mess up my computer.

No, I don't use either. The only thing I have is apples quick time player. Can I get rid of this program with out messing up quick time player.

Yup swarfega is right, I've uninstalled it once and everything from apple started acting funny.

The current implementation of Bonjour for Windows is version 1.0.4. This version works with Windows 2000, 2003, XP, and Vista. It is primarily used in order to ease the installation, configuration, and use of network printers and thus runs from startup. When Bonjour is fully implemented on MS Windows, some features such as iChat allow for communication between the Mac OS and MS Windows. Bonjour for Windows also adds Zeroconf capabilities to Internet Explorer, and provides a Zeroconf implementation to Java JVMs

yeah I just stopped and disabled the bonjour service rather than uninstall it. Safari at least seems to run ok.

Bonjour is also installed in various ADOBE product such as Photoshop CS3. So you might want to take caution when disabling or uninstalling it.
