Hello nh2123,
Can you go to C: Windows > Minidump, zip up the files and upload them with your next post, then we can take a look and see if we can find the problem.

Just had a quick look, do you have a USB card reader, or another USB device plugged in ?, its pointing towards that, (probably a driver, some go back to 2006) there are loads of old drivers, i will give you a list of drivers to update, but it will take a while to go through them all.

I had a look at the drivers, most of them will be updated if you update your chipset drivers, that seems to be where the oldest ones are, all your raid/sata drivers need to be updated.

Go to device manager and un-install all you USB drivers, and reboot, this will re-install your USB drivers.

Here is a list of the really old ones, some are system drivers, so just check that you have all the windows updates.

Google them one at a time, and if you can find a driver update them, but as i said, new chipset drivers will take care of most of them.

iastorv.sys
lsi_scsi.sys
arcsas.sys
nfrd960.sys
nvstor.sys

They are system files that MS haven't updated, but, just because a PC is new, its no guarantee that the drivers will be up to date.
I can only tell you what is in the Minidump file.

What about the USB devices, have you looked at them ?.

ok, i reinstalled the chipset driver. ill see if that works. one other thing to note that may help narrow this problem a bit. it seems to get these bluescreens more often when i pick up the notebook to move it.

My Computer

still having a bluescreen issue. want to restore my computer prior to when it started happening. problem is when i go into system restore all the restore points (i think 4 of them) are from after the prob. started occurring (2 weeks ago or so). Any other ideas besides reformatting the os?

I second what Stoney_Nutz says.

A memory dump is what happens when Windows crashes. The memory is dumped into the pagefile and saved for the next reboot. Analyzing these dump files can help to figure out what's causing your system to crash. They wont offer you a "solution or fix" to the problem, they will only provide us with clues as to whats causing the crashing.

Most system crashes, in my experience are caused by faulty/corrupted drivers, malware, or hardware failures.

Might be worthwhile reinstalling all your drivers from your pc manufacturers website or from the hardware manufacturer for specific, non intergrated devices.
