My Computer

Hello and Welcome !

Seems like the crash has caused by either ESET NOD32 i would recomemed to uninstall ESET and Acronis True Image and for ESET use this article ESET Knowledgebase - How do I manually uninstall my ESET security product? and install Microsoft Security Essentials

Bugcheck:

Code:
UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP_M (1000007f)
This means a trap occurred in kernel mode, and it's a trap of a kind
that the kernel isn't allowed to have/catch (bound trap) or that
is always instant death (double fault). The first number in the
bugcheck params is the number of the trap (8 = double fault, etc)
Consult an Intel x86 family manual to learn more about what these
traps are. Here is a *portion* of those codes:
If kv shows a taskGate
use .tss on the part before the colon, then kv.
Else if kv shows a trapframe
        use .trap on that value
Else
.trap on the appropriate frame will show where the trap was taken
(on x86, this will be the ebp that goes with the procedure KiTrap)
Endif
kb will then show the corrected stack.
Arguments:
Arg1: 00000008, EXCEPTION_DOUBLE_FAULT
Arg2: 801b4000
Arg3: 00000000
Arg4: 00000000

My Computer

Thanks Captain for your help,
JUst downloaded e-set uninstall tool, followed the instructions and uninstalled e-set, I didn't know e-set was even installed on my PC, But i think i started having the problems when i installed norton,I used to have macafee anti-viris as it came free with my comcast subscription,Then comcast dropped macafee, and is using norton, would you advise dropping norton even though it comes free, in favor of microsoft security essentials, thanks again for your help will keep you informed...patch41

My Computer

Patch,
You are receiving help from one of the best.
You are going to be up and running soon. Just do not get discouraged, sometimes it takes several BSOD to be diagnosed correctly.

Thank you Richard, and thank you Captain for your excellent advise, After removing eset nod32 it seems like a new computer, I vaguely remember i think it was norton advising me to remove ESET NOD32 and i remember searching the program files, and programs and features, and could never find it, and i dont remember ever installing it, I think this is the first time in about a month i turned the computer on and it didn't crash, I have been trying everything that i know to try and fix it and glad i turned to you guy's for help,Much appreciated thanks....patch41
