Blue screen ??

Woke up this morning and looked at my computer, it had a blue screen cant mind what it says on it but i did catch something along the lines of its a safe shut down, windows recomends it .....
Is that fine ? Why did it do that ?

From your specs can see that you have an acer inspiron.. had you left the laptop on all night.. can be heating problem.. perhaps the fan was blocked from getting air.. or just a faulty RAM playing up.. Give us more details..

Acer aspire 5920
Ive had ma laptop on for a good 2 weeks .. left it on for longer and hasnt done this before.. I also leave the laptop on a usb powerd fan so im a little confussed with that too. Just a new fan acer put in it due to i broke a fin of my last one...

try to use "stand-by mode or "hibernate mode" this can help in long terms in terms of the laptop life time.. and don't let it over charge.. this can affect the battery.. more important when the laptop is sitting somewhere make sure th fan holes are not blocked.. let us know if that happen again would might advise you to do a hardware diagnose test then..
