Bitlocker saying i dont have permissions

i installed bitlocker on my windows vista ultimate, and at first it seemed ok. but now, when i try to decrypt something, it says "access denied" i am using an administrator account, why do i not have permissions for that? now half of the files on my computer is encrypted, and the only way to decrypt them is to move them to another computer. anything that is put on desktop is automatically encrypted, and i cant change it after that. i tried going into the permissions, giving myself full rights, but some reason it doesnt allow me, saying i dont have permissions to make any changes. ?????

If that does not work activate this Adminstrator so we can determine if it truly a permissions problem

ok, i tried the registry thing, it found a whole lot of registry errors, but i cant get rid of them unless i buy it :/

then i tried the second solution, and i couldnt go past step 2. the red is wat i typed in, the green is wat i got next:

c:\Users\Jane>net user administrator /active:yes
System error 5 has occurred.

Access is denied.

Run a full anti virus scan
Download and run a full scan with malwarebytes.

Try the adminstrator account that I gave you, in my first post.

ok. i ran malwarebytes and antivirus scan. both found nothing. made the admin account successfuly from safe mode

in the admin account i tried decrypting a single file. didnt work. stil said access denied

It appears that you may have to change group policy. Since I am not familar with Bitlocker, hopefully another member with more expertise will offer assistance, if you have further problems
