Hello Hajk,

What graphics card do you have? and also what version of driver for it?

Bioshock works great for me, but unlike you I am on 64-Bit Vista, but it should still work on yours, let us know the above and hopefully we can get it going for you :D

It said my Video Card was insufficient but the tab below that said my video card had all the desired features??? does this mean my VC isnt up to par or i have the wrong card for what i want to do??? And finally is there any way to fix this or is BIOSHOCK just out of reach.

My Computer

I am by no means an expert and someone may well correct me here, but I am guessing that perhaps although your card has the capabilities for certain things, the program is telling you that maybe to my mind that the memory on your card is not enough :(

I maybe and to be honest I hope I am wrong for your sake.

I am currently running it to see what it says and then I can interpret it better, although my system will be fine, so hold tight and I'll post back with anything else I find out :)

Is your graphics card an onboard one? I don't really know what it is, I am guessing its onboard, if so then I think that might be the problem, again don't take my word for it though, anyone else know, help me I'm stuck :o

Not going to beat around the bush, that Intel graphics chip is garbage and only good for playing solitaire (if you're lucky). Even if you did manage to somehow get that game to run on that chip, it would be such a slideshow (5-10 FPS if you're really lucky) that it would be totally unplayable.

Unfortunately if you want to play any of today's games (and a lot from the last couple of years) you have a few options,

1. Get a laptop (assuming that is what you have based on the specs you listed) that has a real video card in it (ATI or Nvidia), and even then the low end versions of those will have problems with a game like Bioshock, but at least they will play it.

2. Get a suitably equipped desktop to game on.

yeah bioshock wont run on an integrated graphics chip, which is what you have.

Get a dx10 capable card like the 9600gt, that handles cod4 on full settings, so it should handle bioshock no problem.

Great idea except that Intel graphics, especially on a laptop are not upgradeable.
