Big mistake playing around

I lost my access to programs in the start menu.
I created new folders for office,entertainment, admin tools, etc.
Now when I click any thing from office, nothing happens.

see attachment of folder, I can't use snip tool to copy the start menu.

please help.

or do I do a repair for office?

I see that all my shortcut links ( .lnk ) in start menu no longer work.

You might see if doing a System Restore using a restore point dated when they did work may help.

But, I deleted:sa:all restore points 3/20/09 and forgot to turn restore back on.
See what happens when you get old?

Since it is affecting your shortcut files (lnk), see if click on the lnk item in the table at the link below and merging the reg file may help. It restores the default associations for shortcut files.

I've tried that befor,
when I moved folders around and and created others, something happened. I redid all the shortcuts now. We'll see what goes on next.
