Numerous people have been asking about what AV they should use for their PC's. It's a question where many people will post their own opinions, and then people will get tired of answering the same question.
So, before you make a "What anti-virus should I use" thread, here is what the professionals reccomend:
Microsoft Security Essentials
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
Windows Firewall (though this already comes with Windows)
These three programs (especially Security Essentials) will provide maximum protection against the latest threats. We reccomend it over any anti-virus programs, whether it's paid for or if it's free.

Yard Dog said:I use free of Microsoft Security Essentials. I find it actually the best , it
went into my sandboxie which i run at times, and disabled an I-frame virus that
my paid malwarebytes had not detected yet, I find it quite impressive for a free
anti-virus and would highly recommend it above all other free programs.

- Thank you for everything you've done for me in the past years. I'm sorry that games require much more than you're capable of, but you'll never be forgotten as my first personal computer <3
