battery driver

Hey guys,

Long story short, I uninstalled the microsoft ACPI compliant control method battery driver from the device manager while trying to fix another issue, now my battery icon is missing.

I have looked all over the net for this driver to no avail.. Does anyone know where I could download it?

First go to search and type notification. In notification area make sure that battery is checked.
If notfication area is disabled enable it.

How to Enable or Disable the Notification Area System Icons in Vista. This step probably will not be necessary, however.
