Bamital-ac on vista ult x64 help please!!!

My computer has contracted the ac strain of bamital, a trojan infecting explorer.exe and wininit. Basically it pops up "explorer has stopped working searching for solution" then explorer closes out and I am forced to run everything from task manager, i can still surf the net, i can still play games. when I do a restart it gets to the welcome screen and hangs there for about 15 seconds before going to a green screen (ie. explorer fails to load). Avast finds the trojan in both files but attempting to remove or quarantine it results in "Error: File is read only" and nothing happens. MAMB turns up nothing. Spybot S&D turns up nothing. Do not have my restore disc. I found a forums stating a program called combofix will..well fix the solution and many people have said as such. The problem with this is CF doesn't work on x64 OS. At first I was able to restore to last best known config and explorer would load but the virus' would still be present, and after a time(a couple days at first, then a day, then about 8 hours) explorer would bug out again and back to running from task manager. Now when i try last best known config I "green screen". I am very afraid I am about to wind up with a very pretty paperweight someone help me.
