Ballot Screen?

I have Opera as my default browser on Vista HP. I have other browsers. I use IE 8 occasionally & I have no need or desire to remove it. Will this 'Ballot Screen' interfere with my set-up?

Do I have to install the 'Ballot Screen' if I don't want it?

It seems a bit superfluous to me.

OK thanks. Does anyone know if it is possible to just not install the update/Ballot Screen ?

I have heard that this is a distinct possibility.

I have had the Microsoft Browser Choice Screen Update for EEA users of Windows Vista (KB976002) 115Kb in a routine update.

It appears I don't have to install it if I don't want to!

Hurrah! :D

Just got the update too!

I see from your last post that you resolved your problems, but just in case when you don't want to install an update, you can right-click on it and then click on "Hide Update". That will hide the update and stop it from beeing installed.

Cheers,
