Autocorrect doesn't work in Reviewing Pane

In Word 2007, Autocorrect seems to work just fine in a document, popping in the stored text whenever the code is typed followed by a space. However, I cannot get this feature to work in the reviewing pane (when I add a comment). Does anyone have a suggestion for this?

Thanks for your post, JMH, but I have searched far and wide to solve this problem (saw it mentioned once on another site, but there was no solution).

Does the autocorrect feature work in a reviewing pane comment in YOUR Word 2007? Unlike earlier versions of Word, typing the autocorrect code produces no effect in my Word 2007 when typing a comment (in the reviewing pane), although it works perfectly when in a document.

I hardly ever use my Word 2007, I tend to use One Note.
Another idea for you to think about -
Start - All programs - MS Office - MS Office Tools - MS Office Diagnostics.
