Auto Connect To Network

Hi, Running Vista home basic with Huawei E1550 dongle for 3g network, how can I get it to auto connect when I turn computer on ? It used to do this when new, but now it will not, any help appreciated , Del.

Hi, after trying to sort this out, a strange thing has happened, when I look at my network connections there are now TWO for 3G, one says CONNECTED, and the other permanately says CONNECTING, far as I know I ain't done anything to cause this, weird huh? any advice appreciated , Regards Del. :huh:

Go into your Network and Sharing Center , manage network connections and highlight that one and then disable it.

Hi, Y D, Sorted that by using system restore, dunno what I did, all clean & green now.......still won't auto connect though...arrrgghh

Look at Control Panel, Internet Options, in the Connections Tab, lan settings, make sure no check mark in the use proxy server and make sure a check mark is in the Auto Connect box.

Make that , a check mark in the Auto detect settings.

Maybe the dongle is picking up a new site / tower each time. Beats me .
