Audio ceases at Lock-up of System/PC.

Hi! I am using one of my application which use to play audio using waveoutaudio functions i.e. (waveoutprepareheader, waveoutwrite). Audio ceases at lock-up of System(i.e. PC). Following is my system confiugration:

Windows Edition : Windows Vista Ultimate - 32 bit
Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 4400 @2.00GHz
Memory : 1525 MB
Audio Driver : Realtek High Definition Audio Driver
Audio Driver Version : 6.0.1.5841

I have also tried by updating Audio driver(i.e. by updating Realtek Audio driver to High Definition Audio Device driver). But the result was same.

Please help me to solve this issue
