Dear Forum Users,
I was able to reformat the ASUS G71V laptop to it's out-of-the-box OS: Windows Vista 64-bit.
When this laptop was fully installed (drivers, Service Pack 2 and all it's updates) i only installed the new adobe flash player to watch youtube videos. Then when I rebooted suddenly it showed: bootmgr is missing, press ctrl + alt + del to restart, everytime i try.
I can however get the laptop to boot when holding F9 on startup.
My question however is how do i get the missing boot files back on this laptop without having to completely reinstall Windows Vista and ALL it's updates.
I do know there is a site which gives you acces to recovery disks but i don't want to pay € 20 for a laptop i would like to sell.
Kind regards,
