Is the user account "ASP.NET Machine Acount" something I need or can I delete this account? I am sole user of this PC and I actually have the guest account turned off so if this account can be deleted without any ill effects I would like to clear it on out. I am not sure where this account came from but I think it has something to do with the .NET Framework stuffs but not sure....shed some light on it for me if possible.

Hello edilee012,
This is part of the .NET developer framework, the consensus of opinion is that it's safe to remove if you are not into developing work.
Take a look at this thread, the question has been asked before so you are not alone in wanting to get rid of this.
I have to say though, if it was me, i would leave well alone, i have found that when you delete things like this they can sometimes drag other bits and pieces with it. (Might just be my bad luck).
