AR5005G Wireless doesnt connect - BUT Drivers Installed OK

PT6 - i7-920 - 12GB - AR5005G wireless adaptor PCI
Vista 64 SP1
LAN BIOS etc all updated to latest from Asus fine.
Connects to LAN cable internet fine.

BUT NO WIRELESS CONNECTION:
Drivers for Atheros are installed fine according to Vista,
and other devices receive wireless router signals fine in same room.

Any thoughts on why vista can't "see" the wireless network??
