I know this isn't Vista related but it mentions Office so thought people might be interested.

Still, what takes me two days in Excel 2003, takes me two weeks in 2007. There's a learning period. Have 2003 at work and 2007 at home.

I agree there is a learning curve with the new version, although I quite like it, I have 2007 on my Vista machine and I used to have 2003 on the XP one but as my 2007 version license is for 3 machines I installed it on the XP which my husband uses.
My old WinME has Microsoft WorksSuite 2001

LOL I thought this article meant that Office 2003 would no longer work AT ALL!!!!

But it turns out it is just support, which I have never used.... (or needed) so I am set.

I'm working on switching over to OpenOffice anyhow.

Unfortunately, I just HATE the new ribbon bar...
Don't get me wrong, I love change (usually). But I just don't like the ribbon. Some of that just DOESN'T make ANY sense...

Good move...only in windows 7 is good as they want it to be. Or else in 2020 peole will be selling XP on the streets for 1,000$'s.

I would use 2007 at home, but it is ridiculously expensive to buy. I have Office 2003 Professional at home and to buy the comparable 2007 is $600. I use 2007 at school, but find it a pain to use.

If I have to buy Office at $600, then I am using OpenOffice, the free alternative.
