Solved AppHang B1

I lock up often... randomly. To unlock, I have to activate task manager and then click "look for solution" which re-starts IE losing in the process whatever work I am doing.

Problem detail view shows: AppHang B1.

I have run antivirus many times and found none (Window defender, Norton and McAfee), I ran (twice) SFC /scannow and did not find corrupted files, I have run diagnostic hard drive and memory test more than twice and passed all each time.

What's the reason for these frequent lock ups? How do I correct this problem?

Hello CoolNewYorker, and welcome to Vista Forums.

If it is IE that is locking up on you, then you might see if resetting IE can help.
