i can buy that, but the article(s) state that at the conference, nvidia didn't even have a real card! they want the masses to believe that their benches are real, but can't even have a real card at the conference. what did they bench with?

They've said they want to hold off revealing the card fully right until the last moment.

after all these years of NVIDIA being in the lead i think ATI just totally surprised the heck out of em with the 5870...ati is now in the lead baby!

well....IMO whatever the truth is i think GT300 will still outperform the ATI 5 series, the only mystery im concerned about is the price......

this could be ''make or break'' for NV, ATI have produced an EXCELLENT range of new GPU's, which are very powerful & have VERY low power consumption.. & they have an even better price bracket, at the moment ATI = win/win/win :D

NV are set to loose many die hard fans if GT300 follows previous new revision releases & are priced stupidly.
