Annoying Window opening

Hi there,

I've got a little Problem here. Well its actually just an annoying thing which i would like to disable.

Everytime I attache my mobile Phone (HTC Touch Pro) to the Laptop (Vista 32bit) via USB, a Window opens and displays C:\Windows\system32

Why? What causes that? Where can i stop this window from opening?

Hello Camou, and welcome to Vista Forums.

It may be a setting in AutoPlay for that type of media device that is set to open that folder automatically. You will just need to go down the list to see if there is one set that way, then change it to something like "Ask me everytime" instead.

It may be a design flaw in your cellphone software. Have you tried downloading and installing an updated version of the HTC Touch software?
