Am I going deaf? what now?

Hi Everyone,
I don't know if it's me or something wrong with my laptop.
I used to be able to play anything using media player classic at a vol of 20 now I need to set it at 55.
I have checked with the properities and nothing has changed.
The system sounds are nice and loud but some .FLV, .MP3, .AVI files have soften up.

Any ideas?

Hi Carmine,

This might be to easy but try turning up the volume

Also you could try this little APP;
MP3Gain

Drag your mp3's into the window, select Track analysis then when it is finished Track gain.
This will set all your mp3's to the same level of 89db this can be changed but be careful not to overdo it as you will destroy the mp3 sounds

I leave mine on the standard level
