For the last three days I've been searching all over the web for the drivers for my aurora 9700 , I'm begging to regret that I upgraded to vista 64, any driver information would be usefull since the lap top works more like a typewriter now...

Welcome to the forums. :)

I'm pretty sure this thread can be of some to you.

Good luck! If you need further help, feel free to ask.

EDIT: I just noticed the links are broken. I'd suggest sending the Original Poster a Private Message, asking if he still has those available.

Seeing as Alienware's site is the pits and based on this,

Alienware Aurora m9700 - HotHardware

no promises as not sure what if any difference there is between the desktop and laptop NF4 chipset, but this,

nForce Driver

should get you up and going as far as the motherboard drivers go (if it will install, whatever you do DO NOT install the"Network Management Tools"). For the video drivers just about anything here,

Download NVIDIA drivers | drivers for mobile cards and laptops | laptopvideo2go.com

will do, including the latest Nvidia video driver. For the audio will need to know more than what it lists in the first link (find it hard to believe that there would be an Intel audio solution on a Nvidia based motherboard), as Nvidia stopped including the audio drivers in the chipset driver package.

Thanks for the welcome,

and I´ve made some huge progress, the video (SLI included) is working, but about the audio, it´s a soundmax driver that I haven´t been able to get a hold on (not intel), and the drivers for the wireless card are all for the realtek when what I´ve got is the airgo mimo card..

I´m connected through a wifi usb ! and wistleling a lot...
