Album Art Preview As File Icon

Hi all just wondering if someone could possibly explain to me how only a couple of my mp3 files have started using album artwork as there icons and the others just still use the normal icon from winamp which i use? and where abouts are these pic kept cause i cant find them using search and there not in the same folder as the mp3s? any help will be muchly appericated

The Albumart is directly embedded within the MP3 file itself as a part of the ID3v2 tag.

This is why some MP3 files show album art, while others do not.
