Well, after having some issues with my ram, and boot partitions i got Vista x64 reinstalled tonight. Well see how i like it after everything went correct this time.

Only inssue i got now is that it kicked my old XP to drive D: it was on Drive C: so that makes me wonder what happend. and if XP will even work. I really dont want to have to reinstall XP again.

BTW you really really need 2gb of ram for vista, i'm on 1GB right now and damn. I put in my USB Drive to kinda help out with the ram issue but damn i wish my RMA would get here

Did you run the Vista x64 install from the DVD? If yes, then your XP should be fine.

Generally, when you boot, you should see a menu wher you can select either Vista or "Older Operating System". If you boot into XP, you'll notice that Vista will be on the D:. If you boot into Vista, then the XP partition will be the D:, as you've already discovered.

Just don't be too surprised if you find that you rarely if ever boot into XP. I also dual booted with XP in the beginning, but then re-formatted and re-installed with only Vista some weeks later.
