ok so i got my laptop a year ago and other than 1 minor problem its been sound and i am thinking of upgrading it to windows vista ultimate 64bit from windows vista home premium 32bit and i was wondering if there was a way to find out if my computer can handle the 64bit version here is a link to my laptop specs

Your CPU will support the 64-bit Vista. Acer does have 64-bit drivers available for your laptop, so you can use 64-bit Vista if you like. :)

Before you do try Vista be sure to make a full backup of the current OS, just incase there are any problems.
Download all the drivers for Vista and burn to disk ready for intallation before instaling Vista, this will save time in the long run.
