Adobe fail again with the release of Flash 10

Adobe Systems is shipping Wednesday its Adobe Flash Player 10 software, featuring built-in 3D capabilities as well as the ability for developers to add their own special effects.

Concurrent with Flash Player 10, Adobe is shipping Adobe Creative Suite (CS) 4, featuring tools for building creative content, the company said. Tools like Photoshop and Illustrator are featured, offering such functionality as vector graphics.

Adobe is working on Flash Player support for 64-bit platforms as part of our ongoing commitment to the cross-platform compatibility of Flash Player. We expect to provide native support for 64-bit platforms in an upcoming release of Flash Player following Flash Player 10.

FFS just how hard can 64bit support be :sarc:

I was hoping they would release one that supports 64 bit, looks like they don't really care to be honest. How long have they had this "We expect to provide native support for 64 bit platforms" message there now?

Hope they do update us with anything more than just that.

Don't you know? Like, 64bit is like, way out in the future man. There be no need to rush.... :sarc:

I don't think there will ever be 64bit flash. It's been literally years and there's still the same BS announcements about how it's comming soon and such.

All we can hope for is that another format will take over, silverlight maybe? Who cares as long as it works with a 64bit browser! :)
