Solved Access denied to CBS log file.

I need to look at this log file after running SFC. I have taken ownership and set permissions still access denied. I did a clean install of Vista with no problems several weeks ago. After running SFC the result is that files have been repaired effective after a restart.When I run SFC after the restart I get the same message and want to see what files are being repaired. I had this access denied issue before but can't find or recall the solution. I am the adm. user.

The yellow Tip box in the tutorial below can help show you how to create a sfcdetails.txt file that will only have the results of the SFC scan from the CBS.LOG.

Thanks Brink...I created the report.
wdf01000install.mof from store..& wdf01000uninstall.mof from store.
are the two files that get repaired when SFC is run.
Is it worth the worry and effort???

If they have been repaired, then there's nothing more to do.
