I am new to the forums and have recently messed up my vista install and would like to see if i can repair it with out having to reinstall the OS..

I have a dual boot system with XP 32bit on the C partition and Vista 64 bit on the D partition.. everything was working great until i got the bright idea to resize my partitions (there are 2 additional ones on the drive).. using nortons partition magic 8 from my XP install.. it worked out fine until i attempted to restart vista.. now the boot manager show up and Xp works fine but when i attempt to load vista all i get is an error the says the Windows\System32\winload.exe is either corrupt or missing 0xc0000225.. I have several times tried to used the vista disk to repair the install and from the cmd prompt attemted to repair the bootloader, manager and everything else that looks like it would.. and help is appreaciated

yea.. from what i am learning xp runs NTFS 5.1 and Vista runs NTFS 6.0 and when i used nortons to move the partition i think it might have converted the format and now vista's bootloader does not recognize the NTFS format.. Oh joy..
